Dai has also owned a string of other cars in the
past, including a couple of Daimlers, the less said about this incident the better but if
people will dig ditches where I want to drive........
Getting the
car back out again was fun but I did eventually manage to jack it up far enough to pack
wood under the wheels and drive it back out of the ditch. 
This car was the only new car I had ever possesed, I
was at an MG show in 1989 and was told there was a dirt racing track at the bottom of the
field - well, there are certain things that just have to be done aren't there?
Believe it or not I beat the 18 80!
Unfortunately my fun was cut short - did you know
that turning the car sideways at 60mph to slide into a bend tends to blow tyres off the
rims? I didn't know I had a spacesaver spare until then!
