Use them, abuse them and enjoy them! Way to go Robert!

This is me taking the autocross class at MG'96 in Indianapolis. This is my 71 B that's currently undergoing restoration. I've completed all the mechanical work and am now about half way finished with the body. I am hoping that I am finished by next June. The old color was red, the hood was unpainted aluminum that on a whim we polished to a mirror finish. What did I care? I've owned the car since 1984 and will probably always own it.

This is a picture of my 76B daily driver. I bought this back in March 1998for $800. It runs great, especially for an eight hundred dollar car! The picture was taken at my friend's shop. If you look at the sign, the car that is painted on it is his BRG 1960 MGA. In the background is another friend's 1965 Ford truck.

This car has now been sold to finance the restoration of the '71, pictures of this below. Click on the pictures for larger versions.

#1: The car's just been painted Silver-Blue and reassembly has begun.
#2: I'm getting a headache just thinking of all the work I had to do from this point on....
#3: Front view of engine. The alternator is a Bosch unit. I powder coated most of the painted items shown.
#4: Right side view of engine. Nothing exciting here except for the .289 profile cam I installed but you can't see.
#5: Left side view of engine. Do you see that new wiring harness and the Hi-temp paint on the header? I hope so for as much money as I spent!
#6: The final product waiting to be taken to her first show since completion.
#7: Front view. That's my friend Rich sitting in my friend Mike Fishman's '65 B. That car was restored over 10 years ago and still looks great.
#8: The Royal Steed with a couple of common horses.
#9: Luckily, this picture hides the cracks I caused in the dash when I reinstalled it. I'm getting a new dash cover to go with the new seats, carpet, and panels soon.
#10: Left side view. That's U.S. 64 to the left and Busch Wildlife Center to the right. Yes, the same Busch as Busch Beer.

All the bits are got together, chewed up, fiddled with and eventually published by Dai Pen-Mawr. It is copyright all of us and thieving bits off it isn't very nice and we would get all upset. Unless of course you put a great big eye catching link back to here next to the bits you nicked!
