Jachrze Pzenovich has been working for many years as a designer for MG. In the past he has always worked from his home in Wolzstyn, Poland, using the wonders of modern technology to connect his computer to the factory design systems via a modem. This method of comminication does have its drawbacks with occasional corrupt data transfer as may be seen from the terrible mistake the factory made when they put MG badges on the Metro and Maestro without first checking with Jachrze that they had the correct information. An attempt was made to cover this blunder up by adding turbos to the cars and pretending nothing was wrong but only a few of these were produced before MG realised they weren't fooling anyone and quietly stopped production. MG are now producing cars at a new factory in his home town using locally sourced parts and Jachrze is now working in the Design Studio so hopefully this kind of mistake can never occur again.
