This is my B pre-restoration. It's actually the picture sent to me by the guy I bought it from.

This picture pretty much sums up my life in general and how I feel when I'm working on my B in particular. I've noticed that sanity is relative. You tend to be less sane around your relatives. That and if you hang around insane people, sane people start to look weird.

Okay, for the record. My B is with a specialist garage in Swisher Iowa right now. I figured I'd rather pay someone to do the body right the first time. The mechanical stuff I can screw up on my own as often as I want. It's got something to do with welders and a headline reading "burned over 90% of his body". Anyway, I got a new boot lid, bonnet, right hand door skin and floor pans. Or at least that's what I bought before I moved over here. The plan is for the guys in Iowa to strip it down to the metal remove all the rust, and repaint it BRG. Plus some mechanical stuff to get it running (the head cracked right after I bought it). Everything else I should be able to handle with my limited abilities and tool box.

This web site is a combined effort and all contributions have been supplied by the people named on this site. All the bits are got together, chewed up, fiddled with and eventually published by Dai Pen-Mawr. It is copyright all of us and thieving bits off it isn't very nice and we would get all upset. Unless of course you put a great big eye catching link back to here next to the bits you nicked!
